Contractor Recommendations
The following table was developed by the Portable Sanitation Association International. It indicates how many portable restroom facilities are recommended based on the number of employees on site.

Special Events Restroom Recommendations
The normal recommendation for a special event is up to 75 people per unit for an eight hour period where food and drink are served. People often opt for a sink to be placed near where the food is being prepared.
For larger events, you can use the following table, which was developed by the Portable Sanitation Association International. It indicates the number of portable restrooms required when no pumping service is provided. The recommendations in the table assume there would be a 50/50 mix of men and women and that there would be no other facilities available.
